Self Defence

Self-Defense is use of physical force to protect an immediate threat of violence. Such force can be unarmed or armed. In such cases the chances of success depends on large number of parameters related to the severity of the threat but on the other side physical & mental state of the defender. Many styles of karate & martial arts are practiced for seld-defense. Some martial arts train how to escape from a gun or knife situation or how to break away from a punch, while other arts train how to attack.
